Dominique Gonzales created products and launched Care Bath & Body in October of 2018. The company was created from her need to do something positive to do with her anxious energy. She, also, wanted to provide quality bath and body products for others with a desire to make self-care simple and accessible. Dominique is a Certified Entrepreneur and received this certification from the National Entrepreneurs Association in December of 2022. She completed Bank Of America's Women's Entrepreneurship Certification program in March 2023 and is a current cohort member of the Milestone Circles Program at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center. She's completed several courses to better understand skin and skincare and commits to using non-toxic products in her store.
Mission Statement:
Care Bath & Body exists to provide caregivers of all gender and sex identities with handmade skincare, haircare, and bath products, and practical tools to promote the importance of daily self-care and self-rejuvenation practices. We commit to using quality ingredients made by and/or sold by businesses owned by Black/African American/African people, Indigenous/Native American/First Nations people, and People of Color.
