Meet our owner, Dom!
I started creating bath and body products to give myself something to do with the anxiety that I deal with daily. I, also, had a focus on self-care one week and during a meditation got the idea to make my own scrubs, soaps, candles, etc. Creating homemade products allowed me to be creative while making something that I could add into my daily self-care routine. I decided to share some of the products with my amazingly supportive therapy group and they started requesting orders daily. I was encouraged to start a company and from there, Care was born. Care was born out of my need for better self-care and my desire to give the gift of self-care products to others. I often say that during a really dark, scary, and confusing time in my life, Care is something beautiful that was created during that time. I hope to inspire others to use tough (and great) times to create cool things.

Dominique is a graduate of the National Entrepreneurs Association Boot Camp & Certification program and Bank Of America's Women's Entrepreneurship Certification program. She's a current participant in the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center's Milestone Circles Program.

Mission Statement:​
Care Bath & Body exists to provide caretakers of all gender and sex identities with handmade skin care, hair care, and bath products, and practical tools to promote the importance of daily self-care and self-love practices. We commit to using quality ingredients made by and/or sold by businesses owned by Black/African American/African people, Indigenous/Native American/First Nations people, and People of Color.
